This is done using geophones and sound correlators without the need to open or break any floors or walls. The experience and skill of the technician performing the operation is important to the success of the location.

As an extension of our water leak location services, DETECTAR also carries out leak location work in homes and buildings.

In cases where the leak cannot be located by traditional means, the trace gas methodology is used. This methodology consists of introducing a specific gas into the installation which, once it comes out through the leak to be located, is detected with the tracer gas location equipment.
